Pastor Ron’s family arrived at Mountain View Baptist Church when he was in elementary school in 1968 and then during Junior High and part of high school. Ron received Christ at an early age of 5 and later rededicated his life at age 19. Pastor Ron and Tanya brought their three daughters Lindsi, Kali, & Misti to Mountain View in 1995 and started helping in youth ministry. In October of 1997 Ron was called as Youth Pastor to Junior & Senior High kids, as well as the College Pastor. In January of 2004, he was called as Senior Pastor to our sister church in Roseburg, Oregon where he served for over 12 years. Pastor Ron received his training at Western Seminary in Portland. Pastor Ron’s passion is to see people come to faith in Jesus Christ and discovering, developing, and deploying their SHAPE for service. S-spiritual gift/s, H-eart for serving to make the church stronger, A-abilities learned over a lifetime, P-ersonality that longs to relate to God and others, and E-xperiences -God never wastes a hurt.
